BASF SE (BASFY - Free Report) has launched Lincare, a naturally derived active ingredient designed to support post-laser skincare and promote rejuvenation, at in-cosmetics Asia 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand. The launch underscores the company's focus on supporting innovation in its beauty and personal care portfolio to address the growing need for skin-recovery mechanisms while helping enhance visible aesthetic results.

Derived from flaxseed hull oligosaccharides, Lincare supports skin recovery by soothing post-treatment skin, helping epidermal recovery, strengthening the skin barrier and enhancing visible rejuvenation benefits. Clinical testing demonstrated that a formulation containing 1% Lincare helped the skin barrier recover 21% faster following non-ablative fractional laser treatment, enabling recovery approximately 1.2 days earlier than placebo.

The ingredient also delivered up to twice the skin barrier improvement after 14 days. Additionally, it demonstrated improvements in forehead fine lines, crow's feet and nasolabial folds, along with up to 16% higher skin density after 56 days.

Alongside Lincare, BASFY is showcasing several innovations under its "Beyond Beauty: Future Unlocked" theme. These include Tinosorb A2B for advanced sun care, Emulgade Verde PE for active delivery, Plantapon Amino ASP for gentle cleansing and NeoHelix Regenerate for skin regeneration and healthy aging. The launch strengthens BASFY's beauty care solutions portfolio and reinforces its commitment to addressing evolving consumer needs in the growing Asia-Pacific market.
